2023 Sunday — Eight Days a Week

Eight Days till the 29th
This is Anniversary Month at Funville
Day 22 -- May 21, 2023

Eight days until THE DAY! and our song was and is the Beatles' tune "Eight Days a Week."

We were married in a little wedding chapel in Norwalk, California. In a little room with less than two dozen people present, we exchanged rings, repeated the words of a vow, and made promises we did not understand.

We have three photos from that day almost 58 years ago when he was 19 and I was 15. My mom wouldn't let me wear white. We were in trouble.

We walked into that chapel single; we walked out married. Ten years later we celebrated by getting married again, and the Word of Life, Jesus, breathed life into our circle of two and we've never been the same!

God’s Word says “Two become one.” Certainly that is one (of many) of the miracle moments in our lives.

So we are celebrating!

P.S. We drove north today to our Central Coast home. Sigh! So good to be here.
