Shield Bug

........ I was wandering around the garden looking for blip inspiration when I heard the strangest noise - like someone fast shuffling a pack of cards very loudly - and then I got dive bombed by what appeared to be a flying green olive. Fortunately, it just managed to swerve before it hit me in the face and it then settled on a nearby branch ......... presumably it needed to get it’s breath back as much as I did.
I’ve never heard one flying before but if I hear it again I’ll know to duck or at least close my mouth, just in case ;-)))

I could really do with a new mattress as the one I’m currently sleeping on is the one I’ve been sleeping on for at least 25 years. It’s not uncomfortable ( in fact I would say it’s extremely comfortable, hence the reluctance to give it up ) but is starting to show it’s age, lol, aren’t we all ;-)))
I’m not a fan of shopping in person but you can’t choose a mattress online, so I drove over to a large shopping centre about an hour away as it’s the nearest place that has the well known stores. It’s the first time I’ve been there for about 4 or 5 years and as expected it wasn’t the most enjoyable experience I’ve ever had but I tried quite a few different mattresses and I think I’ve found one that should suit. I haven’t ordered it yet because I’m still a little reluctant to give up my old one but I’m working myself up to it, so who knows, it might just happen ;-)))
