We had to go into Edinburgh today so decided to go to the Botanic Gardens to see the rhododendrons and azaleas while they were still flowering.  Apart from the Magnolia Sieboldii most of those in the photo are some of the spectacular azaleas filling the air with their fragrance.  Extra  While walking down Scotland Street we noticed a clematis had climbed up a drainpipe from the basement level up to the roof four stories up.
