Portico de la Gloria ….V&A

In 1866 the museum commissioned the Italian plaster cast maker Domenico Brucciani to visit Santiago de Compostela in Spain and make a cast of the Portico .
The Cast courts were made to house it and other monumental copies of architectural artworks from around the world …….definitely a must if you visit:-))
