Haberdashery

An uplifting start to the day with Yoga led by A back from her holiday. A trip into John Lewis to get a new laptop, the best value one I’d decided on was of course not in stock even though it was on display, and not available to purchase. Found an acceptable alternative and used my free coffee and cake voucher while I waited for it to be sent to the collection point. Bit of a kerfuffle while I helped an assistant cajole a sewing machine into an elderly lady’s shopping trolley so she could take it home on the bus. I managed to get my blip as I walked through the haberdashery department.
Back home and effortlessly set up the lap top with everything transferring as if by magic. The fun started when I tried to connect the printer. Contacted Canon who 90 minutes later said it was impossible due to a malware problem. I thought that unlikely so I persevered, failed, called Microsoft who resolved it in about 20 minutes. All in all it took up near enough 4 hours.
I’ve had more interesting days.
