Cicero Street, Harpurhey

Harpurhey is an inner city suburb of Manchester, approximately 4 miles north-east of the City Centre and is home to the Manchester Dogs Home and the World Famous Embassy Club on Rochdale Road, owned by the late, un-PC and racist comedian Bernard Manning.

My dad went there for a stag do or leaving do back in the late 1980s (when I would of still been a child).

Back on topic, this street gained notoriety in late 2018 and mid 2019 following a spate of robberies and attacks on delivery and taxi drivers by local youths.
