Day 142/23. A Giant River Otter family.

The Giant River Otter family at the New Forest Wildlife Park today.
Giant River Otters are endangered with, it is thought, only about 5,000 remaining in the wild.
This pup was born on 6th January and is being taught how to catch fish by mum and dad. They throw the fish into the water, the pup has to then catch it.
