Walking by Lake Hawea

Today 12 of us started the walk at John Creek, and walked towards Hawea township.  It was cloudy and grey to start with, then the sun came out.  Just lovely.  The extras are:  (1)  Looking at Mt Roy  (2)  Sheep may safely graze  (3)  The track before us.  (4)  Today's sunrise.  We walked over 12K steps, or just over 9 k's.  We had a welcome cuppa and cake at a local cafe before heading for home.  Another very nice walk in local scenery.  A bit on the cool side, +9C.
