The Rabbit Door Knocker

Our home is populated by many rabbit artefacts, ornaments and images in many different formats.

The door knocker started off as a lion door knocker given by a well meaning friend, no longer with us.

The lion was a ‘pealliewallie’ specimen. The knocker is fine. Pat had modelled a rabbit on top of the lion, however time and weather had caused some damage.

This is the second version very near completion, and used for the first time by our lunch guests, DH and friend.

Pat had prepared a very fine meal much enjoyed by all. The sweet or pudding featured locally grown strawberries picked this morning in the Polytunnels across the way.

My stiff neck is gradually resolving itself and improving, but still some way to go.
