Sunday: Not Now, Barney

Despite having quite a busy day I didn’t really manage to take any photos until Barney provided an opportunity.  Actually, if I’m honest, I forgot…..

I had to head up to Belize City late morning to collect my boss and another colleague who are here for an official visit this week.  A third colleague was supposed to be with them but had some ESTA issues so will be here tomorrow.  

After settling them in at home (they’re staying with us as there aren’t any suitable hotels in Belmopan) I took them for a walk round Guanacaste Park.  They completely lucked out as we saw howler monkeys, a gibnut and a snake.  Dinner in the evening was at ‘Las Palapas’ on the Hummingbird Highway. 

Naturally some of that would have provided excellent photos but, instead, you have Barney, wanting to be let out.  It’s too late for him as you don’t know what’s around at this time of night.
