Green Energy

Tiny plants growing in an old manhole cover. 
It belonged to the County of London Electric Supply Company Limited (C.L.E.S.Co Ltd), which existed from 1891 to 1948.

I love seeing the remnants of the past on the pavements. They go unnoticed, but some have been there for decades, or longer.
