A very rare thing happened today - rather than travelling home from a weekend away as we usually do on a bank holiday Monday, or Chris having to work it, we spent it together in the sunshine. I was up with the birdsAmelie and did some washing and tidying up. Chris went out to get some breakfast supplies and we had breakfast before getting ready to go out for a walk/cycle in Amelie's case. She is doing really well on the balance bike, think we might have to move the seat up a notch as well. I put Isaac in our Monkey Mei Taiand we headed out. The walk that we did rather conveniently ended at a pub so we stopped to refresh ourselves before our return journey. They have a lovely beer garden with a park so Amelie spent most of her time in there. Unfortunately its an over 7s park unless accompanied by an adult so poor Chris spent most of his time playing too! After an hour or so we wandered home for dinner and a film.
