The early light paints the Bridge with gold. When water is running in the Taylor River Maisie and I cross from the true left bank to the true right bank via the footbridge fixed to the main bridge structure. If the river is low and I am wearing gumboots ( aka Wellingtons) Maisie and I take a shortcut via the water. That cuts about 10 minutes off my walk time.
