Evening sunlight in Devizes

With the help of the amazing N, spent the afternoon with Dad at the hospital in Bath. He is doing so much better, though he’s still in a lot of pain with three broken ribs, and another new environment has left him very confused and disoriented. But he is stable and receiving good care, so I was persuaded by everyone around me, for the sake of my own sanity, to take a break and accept a lift back to Devizes from Little E&I’s Dad (who was coincidentally visiting a parishioner at the RUH).

So a day later than planned, I arrived in Devizes to stay overnight with Little E and Little I and their mum and dad, though Little E and Little I aren’t so little any more. In the two years since I last saw them they’ve shot up! A beautiful sunny evening in Wiltshire spent having supper in the garden, catching up on two years worth of news, and meeting the new addition to the family, Luna (in extras).
