Chickens and a garden cart

We got the expected 2 inches of rain last night. It was great. This morning was pretty soggy, though. The chickens were itching to get out but then I looked out and saw 4 of them perched on the garden cart. Maybe they were taking in a view or maybe they just wanted out of the wet grass. From right to left is Chewy, Scruffy, Honey and one of the Smoke sisters. I can't tell the two of them apart. The other sister was some place else.
The day turned out to be beautiful. I got to listen to my good friend who hosts a great radio program on Wyoming public radio called Acoustic Sunrise as it plays from 7-10 there. I listen from 9-12 here. I also got outside and did a variety of gardeny things. The baby squirrels are out and about and just about ready to head off into the big woods.
I'm happy to have one more day to get more things done here.
