Personal views

It's my choice to have shrubs and plants at the front of my house. Most in my road have flagged and tarmac-ed theirs and taken out hedges and trees. 
But when I sit in my lounge this is what I see; it blocks views of our passing traffic and pedestrians and provides food and shelter for wildlife. There is currently a pair of goldfinches collecting seeds regularly, sparrows, tits, wrens and robins finding different food. When it rains and pours, half of my driveway will allow water to soak away into the soil and not run into the drainage system threatening flooding.
I just wish more of us could find space for wildlife.
I'll just keep on doing what I do and enjoying it every day :-)
