Hard to Port

Before we go any further this is a warning to all men.  The hand drier, in the gents toilet in the Castle Stalker View Café, is the original engine first tested by Sir Frank Whittle.  Take care.

In preparation for the Ben I'd spent several weekends on top of the wardrobe to accustom myself to altitude sickness.   When we awoke today we could not see the Ben; we couldn't even see across the road.  A third of the way up CMC had to put her rear fog lamp on.  We met a man coming down the  way who looked like Hamish MacInnes' aunty Belle. 

It had to appin eventually so we spent a dreamy afternoon in the port*.  It was nearly as quiet as Creel HQ, speaking of which.
