Wideopen Hill

A shorter walking  day of only 6.5 miles, but with the steepest climb on the route it was no stroll in the park. At 386m Wideopen Hill is the highest point on the walk and the summit is apparently half distance according to our guide book. Other books disagree but I am happy to take ours as a truthful version! The view from the top is amazing in all directions. 
Back on the long distance stuff tomorrow with a 12 miler.
