Peony red

The red peony is always the first to flower. I checked the buds when we got home from Scotland and the first image I took was the bud opening after a bit of overnight rain.

Today the bud is fully open as you can see in the main shot, lots more to come too. Hopefully the weather will allow them to do well followed by the pink one next to it.

Warm and sunny again. After church I continued working on the block patio scraping in the patio outside the kitchen. Chris has gone to deliver ‘Tittle Tattle’ magazines up the village. I usually help but I felt if I didn’t get it this finished it would get left. A but stiff now!
