Saved!

A complicated sort of a day - went across the bridge and did a swift turn round the market before it opened, in the hope of getting the regulars to save some supplies for me to pick up later (I was almost out of kombucha!). I knew that the Pie Dolly would probably have sold out by the time I got back - indeed, she might even have left for the pub.

So I then went up town, talked about geometric transformations, rational and hyperbolic functions, and differential equations for two hours, and returned to Leith. K had indeed sold out of her delicious baked goods, but had saved a pie for D (first time he's relaxed his diet sufficiently to allow one). What a star!
