Progress?

Even in this economy, "progress" continues. Society, it seems, abhors vacant lots. Developers are compelled to fill them with something. In my neighborhood, that means more houses, even though there are both new and resale houses readily available. While this area has been hit less hard by the economy than most places, that doesn't mean things are great. The housing market remains better here than most places, but that doesn't mean it is strong. Yet new homes continue to be built. Well, at least that means work for some in the construction trades.
