We started today by getting some things for dinner at the local market, which is where I took this photo. Then we took the 30 bus to Pigalle and walked up to Montmartre to see the expo "Surrealisme au féminin?" at the Musée de Montmartre - it was a good, smallish show. It was interesting to see the variety of works by women associated with surrealism - I want to learn more now about Mimi Parent, whose boxes of surrealist objects were really intriguing. The museum has a really lovely garden that overlooks the vineyard at Montmartre - it was a beautiful day and the roses were out. Later, our colleague C joined us for dinner and we all went to an electroacoustic music concert at Radio France - an interesting experience - the music comes at you from speakers all over the hall. Some pieces were a little overwhelming, others were quieter and bit easier to grasp.
