The view from the parapet

Orford Castle
After a morning walking around Orford Ness and looking at the Cold War relics we returned to the mainland and had a look at Orford Castle. A good place to visit if you are a member of English Heritage. On a clear day the view from the top is impressive and the 360 degree vista shows Edward 11 was good at finding a good location to keep the troublesome Bigods over at Framlingham Castle under control.
Now about to start cooking a curry to combat all the barbecues being lit on the campsite.
