Lantana

Hello beautiful morning! It’s 61° with 10 mph winds. Absolutely perfect for me! Yesterday I bought my annual flowers. I’m a little late this year, due to the heat and humidity we’ve had. I’ve just been too drained from the heat to browse through the garden center. We have an old metal shed that I try to beautify by adding Lantana in pots in the front. The individual pots were so expensive this year that I bought two hanging baskets and dividing them for the seven pots. So yay to me for using my head and saving money!

I planted them this morning while it was cool and a feisty Mockingbird serenaded me. I’ll enjoy the bright spot all summer as I look at my kitchen window.
