Wasp time

Another lovely day. The wasps are all over the garden gate scavenging material for their nests. Hopefully they won’t be able to find a home in the house this year.

A couple have decided to make a try for the potting shed. They work away assiduously building their tiny paper starter homes. Unfortunately for them, there’s no way I’m going to share it with them.

Nick comes round for tea. He breaks out last years bird cherries in brandy for pudding. And I match it with a bottle of PX that has been hanging around since Acme days. It’s dated 2003 and tastes delicious.
