Drove over to Ju’s and we went to Lea Gardens near Matlock. Stunning garden set on a hillside, full of rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias, with some interesting underplanting. Very nice cafe too but as we were going out for supper we just had tea and carrot cake. It was delicious. Stopped at a couple of plant nurseries on the way back but didn’t buy anything and then went to her local Indian restaurant for an early supper. Haven’t been there for a long time but it was as good as I remembered
