A very hungry caterpillar

The rainy season is fast approaching and it's arrival seems to be coinciding with the arrival of all kinds of wriggly, jiggly beasties! I have already been bitten twice and since yesterday the pavements and walks surrounding my apartment seems to be a haven for these beautifully furry and colourful caterpillars.

I have no idea what they will transform into but I'm hoping my walkway will be filled with brightly coloured butterflies and not huge, scary moths!
