Another fab day here of international culture, sports, music and fun, fun, fun, with some work added in of course.

I was on duty from 8:30 until lunchtime but ended up working until around 3:30 editing and uploading the photos, etc.

I was in the Olympic Village area so got to shoot table tennis, pétanque, cycling,, the obstacle race course, chess, basketball, archery, mini golf and beach volleyball.

It was so much fun. The participants really put so much into the day. We headed back to our hosts house for a change of clothes, store returning for the party night.

It did not disappoint. We had the band Aqua on for an hour and the were electric. Not a band I’d say I’d normally listen to but they knew how to perform for sure.

Then, we had a Queen tribute act called Queen Machine. They are also from DK like Aqua.

OMG! They were absolutely amazing. Such great energy and got the crowd going too with there many covers of Queen classics.

Another late night and decided at 2am I wasn’t going to travel to Randers in the morning for parkrun. I can get a train from Viborg ok but can’t get back to Bjerrringbro unless by taxi. I’m dedicated but not that dedicated!

Sad to miss out, but the extra couple of hours in bed won’t go amiss.
