Spakenburg

On the way in the car to the Boy's birthday dinner, I remarked that we might as well have taken the train. If there are no delays on the train route and no traffic jams on the motorway, there is little difference in travel time.
The difference was in the way back today. We drove from Amsterdam to Spakenburg, to Amerongen and only then home. Because we were by car.

I clearly have a love hate relationship with the car. It was fun in Amerongen and super fun in Spakenburg because of the Botter competition. We wouldn't have gone there by train.
