Mallard

A female Mallard quietly sitting on the path at the side of Lake Geneva. They are so common here yet I don’t think that I’ve blipped one before.

Left work at lunchtime and headed off in the campervan. First stop was the medieval village of Yvoire. We have only been once before, on a rainy Sunday morning and no one else was there. Today was the opposite as there were hundreds of people visiting so we didn’t stay long.

Now camped on the outskirts of Geneva by the lake with friends. We came to see the biggest drone show in Europe and, although we planned to go tomorrow night, we could see the display very clearly form the campsite as it was so big. Looking forward to tomorrow night.
