poached egg, anyone?

A pleasant day, which started with a nice thirty click ride out to Berkeley for lunch. Later, Janet was busy in the garden, and while I was hiding from the inevitable heavy lifting jobs I snuck this shot of the poached egg plants in the very front garden. 

The afternoon I acquired another part of the walled garden. On the way back with my lovely new MacBook Air, listening to the radio, the panelist spoke about the recent National Conservativism Conference as the NatC's... I nearly choked on my breadstick!

Did they not hear that coming?
