Camassia

A late bloomer at the Arboretum for Flower Friday.

I've also tagged this for wildflower week but I'm not really sure if I should. They are not native to the UK but certainly grow wild in North America. One definition of a wildflower is "a flower that grows freely without human intervention" and camassias certainly do that in the meadows around here although of course they were originally planted. So, a wildflower or not?
