One Last Push*

A stiff climb up from Kinlochleven into the foothills of the Mamores.   We were so pleased to have a fine day.  The last time we walked the WHW we were absolutely drookit on the last day and never saw a thing.  We'd forgotten that the last 4 miles are a trudge on a hard surface.  I don't know how to break this news to you but last night the Current Mrs Creel played Crib in a bar in Kinlochleven.  I'm no sure how she intends to celebrate tonight.  I've been informed that l have a day off tomorrow.

On the trail today a man spoke about David Nixon's sidekick was occasionally Sooty.  It was worth the journey alone.
