Phi Phi Island

Took a boat to Phi Phi Island today. This is approaching the dock at Phi Phi Don, the larger of the pair. Phi Phi Lay, the other island, is where the film, The Beach, was shot.

At Phi Phi Don we did some excellent snorkling, then we took a boat ride around Phi Phi Lay to view it's little bays from the water. We also saw Viking Cave where they harvest bird's nest from to make bird's nest soup. Ounce per Ounce that bird spit stuff is worth more than gold.

Then we went back to the larger island, for lunch and then some free time to explore the beach and the shops before the boat ride home to Phuket.
