The Diggers

A morning with the minky, and as well as helping us in the garden and planting out her little sunflowers, we got over to the beach to play. The first time this year without wellies and anoraks. Here’s Gramps embarking on a grand design. Can you tell what it is yet, children?
Then off to visit Auntie J in the home. I took along a “one-pager” of her family history (also the SK’s family history) that I’d uncovered to date, and she made a decent fist of appearing tolerably interested. Though less so when she realised none of her forebears were rich or famous.
Later, over to the Boat Club for a demonstration by St John’s Ambulance of the club’s new defibrillator. Quite a useful session - but blimey, I didn’t realise you’d to cut their clothes off - scissors are included in the defibrillator box! As is a razor to enable you to shave a chest which is too hairy for the adhesive pads. But no shaving gel?? A rasping dry hack at chest hair??
Gents, get your chest hair shaved aff noo. You’ll thank me.
