Birthday

This morning we took Elliott to school then visited mum briefly before heading to the mall for a little shopping. On the way home we stopped for a bite of lunch at the Sign of the Takahe. I was given a chocolate brownie with candles and ice cream for my birthday. A lovely surprise. 
Once we got home I built my new lego architecture set of Sydney. A very fitting birthday gift as we are heading to Sydney for a holiday in another week. 
A neighbour delivered a cake for us and we joked about Wayne putting a candle in it for me. 
After dinner we watched Hadley play indoor cricket. His team had a draw in a very exciting game. 
I have been spoiled by friends and family sending lots of birthday wishes. A great day.
