One of the FB challenge groups I am in has the theme of street photography this week. The fair is in town this week so I headed over there tonight to get some photos. There were not many people around at 6:30 pm. I imagine there will be a lot more there tomorrow night, the Friday of a long weekend.
I spent most of the day in the truck. Dropped the tools off at the jobsite and gave instructions to the crew. Picked up E from another job and took her with me to take a look at a property. It is not far from where she lives, so she can take care of most of the work there. Then take her back to her job for the morning, stop where the rest of the crew is working as there were some questions. Go and look at another job, then pick up a couple of shrubs needed at todays job. Get back to the jobsite, get the truck loaded with the debris, then haul it away. Pick up some mulch on the way back to the jobsite.
The job is finished, and the client plans to put the house on the market this summer. The boxwood hedge that I planted 2 years ago looks awful. Both of the tenants have dogs, and they let the dogs out to pee and don't control them. So the dogs pee on the boxwood, and it turns them yellow. We already replaced some last year. I also planted a hedge in the front yard 2 years ago. Most of it is doing well, except the 2 plants that were closest to the street. One tenant continued to drive over them, even though he had been told not to. Hopefully he will stop doing it now, since fresh sod has been put on the lawn and the plants have been replaced.
