Table shadow
Post-birthday celebrations continued today with Carl insisting on cooking a super lunch (triple roast, with duck inside chicken inside turkey). Goodness but it was yummy!
I left around 4:00 pm to be home in time to watch the Monaco Grand Prix. Despite lots of incident, the race itself wasn't all that great. It was good to see Nico Rosberg win (especially since it was thirty years to the day since his father had won the same race), and with Sebastian Vettel coming second and Kimi Raikkonen finishing out of the points, Seb increases his lead at the top of the Drivers table.
The day was pleasantly sunny for the most part, as the blip indicates (that's a table in Carl's front room), but I didn't venture out after watching the race - indeed, the end of the day is a bit of a lost memory. TV? Maybe. Music? Possibly.
