Trip down Memory Lane

Today our friends L and P invited us to join them  for a visit to the annual Basingstoke Festival of Transport, which turned into a real trip down memory lane,as we came across vehicles (mostly  cars) we remembered from the 1960s and 1970s. Unfortunately  my photos of P in a Vauxhall Cresta (his second car) didn't turn out well so I've had to  make do with this old Mini, when Minis really were mini. My Mum 's first car back in the late 60's was like this one, only  white. I must show her this picture. (I was looking for a Mark One Vauxhall Astra, my first car , but didn't find one,) The we walked back to L and P's house for dinner.
