Ancient Oak and the Winding Machine

Mark and I have been meaning to visit the National Mining Museum at the Lady Victoria Pit in Newtongrange for many years.   We finally got around to it today.  We went on a super guided tour (we were the only ones on it).  The tour lasted over two hours and our guide was really interesting and very knowledgeable.
