Mining Museum

We finally visited the National Mining Museum at The Lady Victorial pit in Newtongrange.  It was brilliant - a 2 hour guided tour, just the two of us, with a great guide.

Afterwards we walked in the ancient oak woods at Dalkeith Country Park.
