Floating Earth

My friend and I went down to the Cathedral later afternoon to see the exhibition Izyum to Liverpool by a Ukranian artist. It is a train journey, filmed in real-time, of the escape route  many Ukrainians. Starting with views of liberated Ukrainian regions moving to apparently stiller Western cities. Obviously, we only experienced a very short part of the journey but it was very powerful sitting in the centre of an almost empty cathedral, listening to the sound track of the train, set against some very moody music. 

We then moved down to the docks and had a little walk around before going for a lovely meal and waiting for sunset. We were there to see "Floating Earth", artwork by Luke Jerram. It was beautiful as all the lights started to come on. We spent quite a bit of time there and then walked around the dock.
