Progress

We now have an electric vehicle charging point by the village green. Mains electricity came to the village in the early 1920s. A hundred years later electricity will be used to power motor vehicles. 
The cost of buying them is extortionate (at least as far as our budget is concerned) so we shall have to keep with our internal combustion engines for the foreseeable future. I get well over 50 mpg running around in mine and nearly 75mpg on a run so it’s not too bad.
