Heading to Shuttleworth, probably

It's been a busy day on the estate.  Washing out and dried.  More plants potted out and the Clematis Montana hacked back clearing out all the dead bits, and there are a lot of them.  It won't flower this year because I kept trimming it last year.  Lesson learned.

There are a few bees filling the bee box but the insect life is very sparse.  The great tit babies are sticking their heads out of the box and could be gone by tomorrow.

The robins are still feeding young, meaning I can't get in to tie up another Clematis, which has collapsed against the Acer.

We are on the flight path to Cranfield so get a lot of small plane noise, but this was different.  I looked up and was just able to switch from photographing a robin to getting a shot of a biplane.
