Sentosa Island

Last day in Singapore before heading over to Phuket, Thailand. We were going to take a bus up to Malaysia for the day, but heard they had some bad flooding and the whole place stinks. So went to Singapore's Sentosa Island instead.

It was a fun day. We took the gondola over to the island, rode the luge track a few times, and hung out by the beach.

It was odd to be standing on a beautiful sandy beach, surrounded by palm trees, and look out over the ocean and see nothing but huge cargo ships and tankers. but that's Singapore for you. I think it's the bussiest port on the world.

Singapore is hot, day and night, all year round. It's only two degrees above the equator. So it's no surprise that there are plenty of people cooling off here today.
