Spring Garden

Our garden is most colourful in Spring and this year, due to the cold spell, many plants which are normally faded by now are still in flower, so there is even more colour than usual. There is quite a range of colours in this little section, and it doesn't show the rhododendrons and snow-in-summer on the other side of the garden.

It was just as well I managed to get this shot in this morning, as it was only cloudy. By lunchtime the cloud had thickened and it poured down with rain - and is still raining as I write this. The forecast was for it die out overnight, so I may try for an early walk in the morning (although I haven't had enough willpower to get me out of bed so far!)
