Crispy

Looks like a gorgeous Maine spring day…. Looks are deceiving. It was brutally cold today. High temp at noon, in bright sunshine, sheltered away from the wind… was 50 degrees. If you we’re the opposite of any of those things, you’d be sitting at mid thirties.

We actually put up some of next years firewood (got a truckload and threw it in the basement). Fitting because it was so cold today, we actually had the wood boiler going again, all day. My plants have been brought in or covered for the night. I hope the window boxes will do ok. I mowed today in my winter coat!

Hoping for a warm up for the weekend! I’m soooo ready for hot summer evenings and movie nights!
