There’s a neat trick by the late Alex Elmsley called Power Poker. The other person makes all the decisions, ends up with an excellent poker hand, but the magician of course gets a better one. Two problems with Elmsley’s trick: he used eleven cards and hid one; the way he did the repeated and required sleight was pretty awful.

I do it differently: ten cards, and (after a while just doing the sleight properly - apologies to the wonderful Mr Elmsley) I don’t do the sleight the trick is built on.
