Amazingly lichen a map

This morning F and I went for a walk on part of blipper Treshnish's farmland.  It was lovely to meet her in person instead of virtually and we enjoyed our chat with her.

It's a fantastic area farmed with green principles and for wildlife and beautiful scenery too.  We saw a cuckoo on a wire and watched as a small bird sent it away.  I got a photo but not good enough to post.

We went as far as the coast and retraced our steps - a really beautiful walk with wild flowers and lots of interesting things to see.  I loved this lichen, it looks just like a map. The rain started when we were almost back at the car so we were lucky.

Afterwards we went to Croig (another favourite spot of ours) before returning to the cottage.
