Our garden fence used to be completely covered with clematis. (Clemates?) However the past winter has been very severe on the plants at the front of the house. A few seem to have died off and a few more are only growing leaves on older thicker wood. Mag and I have removed three or four plants - very hard work. However a few more still need the non-productive bits pruning back carefully.
As a complete change, late this afternoon we baked some scones, extra photo, and they turned out rather well.
Earlier we had walked Miss E home from school. Mag and I got (temporary) tattoos. Mag got an heart and I got a running deer.
